Chile is nowadays one of the main producers and exporters of Hass avocado worldwide, because of this, a high technological level has been incorporated in both production and facilities. This permits Chile to be considered among the main actors of this Industry in the world. To achieve this, Higher-Education Institutions, where experts in this matter have studied, as well as researches that allow today a top industry have been developed.
Given the above mentioned, a Pre-Congress tour program has been prepared so that the attendants may learn more, on site, about the different systems used, such as: plantings on slopes with different gradients, different planting densities, latest technologies in modernized irrigation, visits to nurseries, etc. This program will allow the attendants to have a better idea of the technologies used, its different problems and the way these have been solved.
